Woah. Woah!
My favorite X-Men when I was growing up was Quicksilver. Now, my favorite actor is gonna play him!! It’s like little me and big me have joined hands in a beautifully harmonious waltz

Im going to join cardboardrabbits on that rant and say that, Im so so so annoyed at how everyone keeps judging him and acting like they know him personally and how different he is now that he has a famous girlfriend. You didnt know him before, you dont know him now, and you probably wont know…
Preach it.

I don’t normally weigh in on this kind of a thing….
or even post for that matter.
And I don’t mean or wish to offend anyone.
But I’ve been noticing a lot of people talking about how Evan has been acting fame hungry, untrue to himself, and has betrayed the whole “private guy” thing ever since he’s gotten with Emma.
I mean, yeah….there are a lot more pictures of him taken by paps than there used to be. But he doesn’t exactly look joyous to be having his picture taken. And pictures say very little of how private a person is…it’s not like he’s sharing actual information about his personal life with a bunch of reporters.
Plus if Emma is really calling the paps to keep herself in the public eye, he probably respects her decision to promote her career in that way.
And yeah….he’s been going to fashion shows and parties, but he’s going with Emma. She’s someone who does normally go to those, and why wouldn’t she ask her boyfriend to be her date? Furthermore, why would he turn her down? She IS his girlfriend.
And we’ve seen and read interviews with him since he’s started dating her. We saw him being all silly at the Tribeca Q&A. And fans who’ve been meeting him still are saying how he’s a total sweetie. That doesn’t point to him being the kind of person who’s made some deep betrayal to his personal identity.
Like I said….I don’t normally voice my opinion about things on the internet, but I just felt the need to say this because nobody else really has. We all talk about how “celebrities are just people like us”, so why do we assume that their actions ALWAYS have some self-serving ulterior motive?
